Earns Four Awards at PCC Golden Trumpets
Chicago’s leading independent
technology PR agency wins raves for client work and its own
newsletter
Buffalo Grove, Ill. (June 16, 2005) – Tech
Image Ltd., Chicago’s leading independent technology
public relations agency, continued its winning ways at the
recent Publicity
Club of Chicago Golden Trumpet Awards ceremony. When the final
notes sounded the 12-year-old agency walked off with two Golden
and two Silver Trumpet trophies in recognition of its outstanding
work in a variety of categories.
One Golden Trumpet was given for Tech Image’s
publicity campaign “Build It and They Will Come,” which
was launched on behalf of client GlobalSpec, a vertical search
engine for engineers. The campaign was designed to increase
awareness of GlobalSpec’s Web site among the targeted
engineering audience, and drive subscriptions to the company’s
Web-based search engine. The results far exceeded client expectations,
helping GlobalSpec take command of this burgeoning space.
The
other Golden Trumpet was earned for the agency’s
own highly successful newsletter, which provides a mix of PR,
marketing, and technology industry news and features. Silver Trumpets were earned for a product
launch on behalf of WDI-Brunswick, and for a byline article
written on behalf
of Relational, LLC. The WDI-Brunswick Redberri launch centered
on a specific event, with success judged on the ability
to drive potential customers to the event. More than 100
highly
qualified prospects attended the event, which marked the
move from an open source to a paid subscription model.
The Relational article provided expert commentary on the
topic
of business continuity in a publication focused specifically
on that niche. The article, which Tech Image authored after
input from the client, received featured treatment in the
publication.
